Nutrician: Our Program
Services include: Approximately three hours of nutrition counseling and/or classes plus attendance at monthly support group meetings.
Initial dietitian visit (1 hour): Includes a nutrition assessment required by the surgeon and most insurance companies, plus information for diet modifications including:
Regular follow-up visits to monitor your progress and assess for nutrient and protein needs, provide guidance for lifestyle modification and help you to develop healthy eating habits for maintaining weight loss.
- 1/2 hour follow-up visits every two to three months or as needed during the first year
- Monthly support group meetings
Cost is $275.00 (cash, check , Visa or MasterCard accepted)
Insurance Information: Most insurance plans do NOT cover for nutrition education; please check with your insurance provider.
