Northwest Hospital & Medical Center’s Center for Medical Rehabilitation provides inpatient medical rehabilitation for a wide range of conditions. Rehabilitation team members include:

- Rehab Physicians (physiatrists) – available 24 hours a day

Our inpatient rehabilitation unit offers treatment for:
- Stroke
- Amputations
- Brain injury
- Spinal cordiInjury
- Major multiple trauma
- Congenital deformities
- Neurological disorders
- Complicated orthopedics
- Active, polyarticular rheumatoid arthritis
- Severe or advanced osteoarthritis
- Systemic vasculidities with joint inflammation
- Other debilitating conditions
We also treat patients who are deconditioned following an illness or a surgical procedure, or who are dealing with an inability to manage daily activities due to functional impairments.
The Center for Medical Rehabilitation does not treat:
- Patients requiring ventilator support
- Pediatric patients less than 18 years of age
- Patients with active tuberculosis
- Patients requiring acute burn care
